Dental Surgery Assistant


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Prepare instruments, materials and records needed for different dental procedures
  • Protecting patients and employees by maintaining a high standard of infection control in all areas and dental units
  • Handling of dental equipment and materials
  • Chairside assistance to dentist during all dental procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient’s data and medical records
  • Educating patients on oral care and hygiene


REQUIREMENTS

  • At least SPM level qualification
  • Preferred language skills: English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia
  • Willingness to learn
  • Team-player
  • Friendly, positive personality
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Proactively manages and schedules the doctor’s appointments
  • Answer and make phone calls
  • Reply messages, emails or on-site enquiries
  • Attending to customers for payment
  • Educating patients on oral care and hygiene


REQUIREMENTS

  • At least SPM level qualification
  • Preferred language skills: English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia
  • Basic knowledge of computer literacy
  • Willingness to learn
  • Team player, positive personality 
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to manage different personalities
  • Good multitasking, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • A sound knowledge of dental care/treatments
